The Eastern Arched Gate on the Dome of the Rock's platform is the only gate located on the east side of the platform.

It is the biggest arched gate on the platform with 5 arches supported by 2 stone columns and 4 marble columns.

The arched gate runs parallel to the Dome of the Rock and Dome of the Chain (Dome of Silsila). There are 22 staircases leading up to the arched gate.

The accurate year or era in which this gate was constructed remains unknown. Some historians claim it was built during the Abbasid era, while others say it was built during the Fatimid era. However, it is most likely that it was first built during the Abbasid Era and renovated by the Fatimid.
